I am going to reveal to you the secret of sanctity and happiness. Every day for five minutes control your imagination and close your eyes to the things of sense and your ears to all the noises of the world, in order to enter into yourself. We brought Our Lady of Lourdes back from Medjugorje in 1990 ~ I purchased her at the bottom of Apparation Hill; I carried Mary all the way home with me on the plane ~ 30" statue. My dh and I visited Medjugorje in 1990 - my mother, grandmother & grandfather were croation. My grandparents came over to New York from the then Yugoslovia; when they were young and my mother was born in America...my mother past away in 1983- She would of been so happy for me that I was able to go back to the land of my roots! We were only 100 miles from my grandfather & grandmother's village!
It is amazing to realize that Our Lady has been appearing every day in Medjugorje
since June 25, 1981. Thank you Blessed Mother for your love, for your messages, and for your prayers and intercessions for all of us. Thank you Jesus, for sending your mother to us to help us find and stay on the path that leads to you. http://www.medjugorje.org

Jesus
Dear apostles, I want you to know joy. Eternal joy will be yours in
heaven, of course, but I want you to know joy now, during your time of
service. If you do as I say, as I am asking you, this heavenly joy will
become more and more available to you and you will share this joy more and
more freely. You will be a true representative of heaven in your joy and
others will be attracted to the heaven that you represent. I want you to
believe Me when I tell you that you can trust Me. If you could not trust
Me, dear apostles, why would you continue to follow Me? The answer is that
you can trust Me, of course, or you would fall away as others have fallen
away. You do trust Me. You rely on Me and you are safe with Me. You have
made a wise decision by putting yourself into My care. It is always the
best decision to rely on the One who loves you perfectly and holds, in His
heart, the perfect plan for your time on earth. Why would you let fear
diminish your joy? Why would you let anxiety for yourself or others
eradicate the joy that is available to you in the present moment? My
dearest apostles, you live in the present, not the future. If the present
is difficult, I am there. If the future becomes difficult, I will be there,
too. You will not be abandoned and your loved ones will not be abandoned.
Ultimately, the greater the trust in Me, the greater the joy in each
moment. I want you to abandon fear. I want you to cast yourself into the
providence that surrounds you. Fear is a snare for you or I would not treat
it so seriously. Ask Me now for greater trust and I will give it to you.
Ask Me now for greater joy and I will give that to you, also. It is
important that others see in you an accurate reflection of the graces
heaven makes available to apostles. Do not hide these graces away. Let
these graces flow out from you to those around you. Share what is good,
dear apostles, not what is bad. Share what comes from Me and you will help
to draw others back into our family. I am telling you that I have greater
graces available to you so make your Jesus happy and ask for these graces.
You will be blessed with all that you need and joy will be yours. Be at
peace. I will never abandon you.

~~~~St. Therese Teach us Your Little Way
St. Therese often referred to her body as an envelope, and the letter within, her soul. All saw the envelope and often judged her by it, rather than the letter inside which they could not see, but which told the real story. As a result, she was often misread. Just one example:
One day some of the Sisters were asked to pick apples in the orchard. It was a beautiful day, and Therese so longed to be outside instead of sewing! However, she put her things away slowly, so another could go instead. This little sacrifice and act of kindness was seen by the others as laziness! These are the hidden roses that made our Therese a Saint.
It is the same for all of us. Each of us has been misunderstood at some time, and quite often we have done the same to another, reading the envelope which may appear smudged and torn, rather that the letter within, which could be quite lovely.
Let us read others charitably, and for those who misread us, let us remember how often we have done the same... and be kind in return!

About Me
I have been happily married to Craig for 33 years on June 14th (Flag Day)! We have
2 adult boys; Aaron-27 yrs. old, Collin-22 yrs. old, and one daughter still at home, Christina-14 yrs. old. Christina will be a Freshman in High School this
coming Fall. She is taking Private Vocal Lessons this summer and is in the Color Guard in High School; so that means two Summer camp weeks of practice! Go
Muskies' Go!!! Ds- Aaron will help teach marching band this summer at our High School! Go Muskie's Go; again! LOL We have a little dog name
"Pixie" and a dwarf rabbit named "Buttons." My son Aaron has just graduated college and finished his student teaching this Spring; now he
is ready to teach this Fall! Collin is in college and majoring in Computer Networking; he has one more year to receive his Associate Degree. (he made the
Dean's list last semester) :)
I enjoy being with my family, reading, cooking, walking, gardening, knitting and working out at the YMCA on the Strive equipment. I have ran a non-profit book,
rosary and religious supply for almost 13 yrs. now. I received my call for this ministry when Craig and I visited Medjugorje in 1990. It took 6 years before it
happened.....but all in God's time! I feel very blessed to be born on August 15th......the Assumption Day of Mary....my dear earthly mother prayed that I
would be born on this day and her prayers were heard.....she named me after "Mary" and her mother "Anne".
My dh, dd and I usher at the 11:30 Mass on Sunday mornings and I lead the prayer line for our Parish Community.
I knit fun scarves and sell them at a flower and gift shop here in town. My daughter and I are having a ball making jewelery! We both love earrings and they
are fun to give as presents! I am applying for a part-time job at Family Video this Tuesday...August the 5th...for 15 hours a week...I 'll let you know if
I get the job.
I am a cradle Catholic and my faith is very dear to me! I thank God for this gift and all the Love he has shown me througout my life....You will see me as
Novena Mom on the CMOMC site; I love to say Novenas. I say my rosary daily, read from the bible and say my Divine Mercy Chaplet whenever I can. My favorite
bible verse is:
"Speak, Lord for your servant is listening." 1 Sam. 3:10

I just started reading this book and find it is fascinating!
Let me quote a little something from the book that
has me really thinking about making some real changes
in my life concerning the Sabbath day!
"Our nation cannot recover if Christians do not acknowledge the Commandment of the Sabbath and live it. The following is offered as solid spiritual direction of how to "live Sunday" as a Christian, because those who call themselves by that name no longer evenknow how. How do you live and keep holy and sacred the Lord's Day in a secular world that has deeply infected and changed the Church of Jesus Christ? We are in a serious crisis and are enduring great sufferings due to this infection, which Our Lady has been trying to reveal to us over these past 25 yrs. What follows has never been published and is one of the rules of life of Community of Caritas. It is how we came to live Sunday as a sacred day and the rich blessings that came upon us once we did. It is not called a "rule," rather it is called "a way," reflecting the way of life Our Lady has given to us since She asked for the community to be established in 1988.She is therefore, viewed as the Foundress of the Community of Caritas. "A Way" came to be written down in compliance with a request from the Bishop of the Diocese of Birmingham, Alabama."...Our Lady's words "it is necessary to respect the Commandments of God in following one's conscience..."
Our Lady made it clear. Our conscience must be formed on God's Commandments. Then the properly formed conscience should be followed as God whispers to
it. I would go to Mass on Sundays, then go to the service station to fill up my car. Sometimes we would go out to eat at a restuarant. I wasn't going to
work on Sundays, but didn't mind paying someone else to work for me. When traveling, I began to notice that the airports were full on Sundays, as just any
other day-but didn't people have to eat? Did they not have to fly? The 3 prophets in the book of Daniel-Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego-willingly walked
into the fire rather than bow down to an idol. The mother and her seven sons in the book of Maccabees gave their life rather that eat pork. My conscience was
challenging me. Was I so weak in my walk that I couldn't rearrange my life, my shedules, my itineraries, fill up gas on Saturday; to honor and respect
God's Commandment? I wasn't even being asked to offer my life. I was only being asked to inconvenience myself. I dared not reveal this to the
community; surely they would choke as I was, We loved going to get ice cream on Sundays. We worked hard all week for God! He understands. But my conscience
rose up, incited by prayer, as well as the words Our Lady was saying in Her messages, and I could not loose myself from it. My conscience repeated
..."Live my Commandments. Let your life be true before me." I couldn't hide the truth, but it
seemed such a small violation, and yet, the mother and sons in Maccabess gave their lives over such a trifle as simply not eating pork."
