My home away from home- Pensacola, FL

If you know Texas, you know where I am by my screen name.
I am married to a wonderful man and I have 3 children (2 DD and 1 DS).
I am a Stay-At-Home Mom
(& grateful to be able to do it!)
After losing my mother to breast cancer, priorities have shifted a bit. I have found that I've been impacted most by what my mother requested be put on her
grave's headstone, "Being Catholic defined her life". I am constantly striving to be a better person, wife and mother. (I stumble a lot, but
always manage to get up and try again.)
Hopefully, God will give me the time on Earth to do some good and make a difference in the lives of others.
I enjoy my kids, my family, friends, music (especially 80's tunes), cooking, art,
photography, the ballet, reading and learning more about local history (especially those that involve ghosts & tall tales).
I am a LOST fanatic!
I love entertaining, laughing and talking with my family & friends.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, we turn to you who are the protectress of unborn children and ask that you intercede for us, so that we may more firmly
resolve to join you in protecting all human life. Let our prayers be united to your perpetual motherly intercession on behalf of those whose lives are
threatened, be they in the womb of their mother, on the bed of infirmity, or in the latter years of their life. May our prayers also be coupled with
peaceful action, which witnesses to the goodness and dignity of all human life, so that our firmness of purpose may give courage to those who are
fearful and bring light to those who are blinded by sin. Encourage those who will be involved in the March for Life; help them to walk closely with God
and to give voice to the cry of the oppressed, in order to remind our nation of its commitment to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all
people. O Virgin Mother of God, present our petitions to your Son and ask Him to bless us with abundant life. Amen. |
